Jun 14, 2014 I Have C code that compiles for UC3 but does not compile for megaAVR I get the following errors: error: Id returned 1exit status, recipe for target.elf failed AVR Freaks Skip to main. If, on the other hand, he declares main as returning void, then he is in Implementation-Defined Land and will not really be compatible with normal compilers, libraries, and operating systems. OP — simply typing the int before main out explicitly is the correct solution. | Hopefully someone can help me! I was trying to get a UART running on my STM eval PCB. My code compiles fine until I add a printf to the code. As soon as I add this, I get a Debug error in the makefile with a 'recipe for target' error. The makefile is generated by Eclipse Mars. I assume there is some setting in Eclipse that Im not aware of. IS there any out there who can help? I have attached my makefile:- ################################################################################ # Automatically-generated file.
